Heater stopped working due to under-voltage.

Most of the time, under-voltage is just a temporary issue. After clearing the code on your controller, the heater should return to normal operation. If it doesn’t, there may be a problem with your electrical system.

Here’s what to check:

  1. Battery charge.
A weak or degraded battery can sometimes cause under-voltage. A faulty battery management system can also be a factor.

  2. Recommended power sources.
We always recommend using the vehicle’s own batteries, as they’re less likely to fail. Under-voltage problems are more common when using power converters or solar power systems.

  3. Error codes.
Under-voltage can show up as code 200 or code 222. If both codes appear, it could also indicate an issue with the blower motor, which will require more in-depth diagnostics.
