Will the SG 1553 12V controller work with older Spheros heaters?
The Spheros SG 1553 12V controller will work for newer model high-powered AquaHot and HydroHot units. Check the manufacturing date on your heater's silver label - if it is manufactured earlier than 2001/2002, it will not work for your unit. If you're not sure, please contact Heatso directly.
