Yes — it requires coolant or water lines to be connected. Hot water or coolant flows through the plates, heating them up, while fans behind the plate exchanger push the hot air into the cabin.

We highly recommend using coolant, as it’s an excellent addition to the Espar Hydronic system or a Webasto Thermo heating loop.
