Does the Kalori Kuba 12V 14000BTU unit require a water line?

Yes, it requires coolant lines or water lines connected. Hot water or coolant passes through plates, heats them up, and fans behind the plate exchanger push the hot air to the cabin. 

We highly recommend going with coolant, an excellent addition to the Espar Hydronic system or Webasto Thermo heating loop.
