HEX: 05 - Flame was detected prior to combustion

Fault Details:

Flame detector signals flame before combustion operation

Recommended Solution:

1. Inspect the air intake and exhaust systems – look for blockages, bends, or kinks in the hose
2. Check fuel line connections, check for damage
3. Check fuel pump – perform bench test on the fuel pump by applying 12V to fuel pump pins in 1-second intervals. Seek for pump clicks
4. Check the glow plug for damage/cracks, or soot of carbon. Inspect cables and plugs for oxidation
